Church bells were ringing for Jake and Adrienne after they shared ‘I Dos’! The couple met in Bismarck, North Dakota in 2019 when they began working for FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). They formed a deep friendship (and survived the challenges of the pandemic!) before going on their first date in March 2021. After a 2022 Easter engagement, we were overjoyed to help capture their special moments on their wedding day!
Skip to December 2022, when Adrienne and Jake got to put a ring on it! Their Philadelphia church wedding took place in the Pennsylvania township of Warrington. Adrienne is the queen of subtle yet meaningful details. She included two cross necklaces, paying homage to her faith and the foundation of her relationship with Jake. Also part of the day was a gold and silver choker, dainty earrings, a pearl clutch, and of course, the rings symbolizing their commitment to one another.
Adrienne started the morning with ten of her closest ladies and glasses of champagne. Pop fizz clink, it’s time for two to become one! The bride tribe was excited to celebrate and support Adrienne in her next chapter. They helped her change into theeee most beautiful bridal gown. Classy and unique, the dress was perfect for her St. Robert Bellarmine Church wedding.
Over at the Church, Jake was waiting with his mates preparing in this intimate wedding venue. Adrienne and Jake saved their first look for the walk down the aisle. They opted instead to share a special moment back to back to each other, soaking in one last sweet moment together. Jake and Adrienne took part in a traditional church wedding, the pews full of friends and family, and the opportunity to kneel down together, as one. Less than 10 miles away in Gwynedd, this Philadelphia church wedding turned into the reception of the year! Adrienne did a stunning dress change into a strapless gown where she met with Jake, looking dapper. Taking advantage of golden hour, couple portraits included both fun and sweet moments – perfectly describing their love story!
The William Penn Inn was decorated for the Christmas season, glowing lights were wrapped around the landscape and the entire evening felt magical! Inside, photos were found with descriptions of the important people in their lives that had passed. A great way to bring them into their big day. Instead of table numbers, various places important to the bride and groom indicated the seating arrangements.
Adrienne and Jake danced the night away with their loved ones and Adrienne’s sisters made the night all the more special with their interpretation of Addreienne’s life in song!
